Meet The Founder
LS1 Construction Consultant Inc. was formed in 2018 by our founder President and CEO, Lavell Stewart. Mr. Stewart began in the construction industry in 1992. His vast experience in the construction industry that he brings to LS1 includes long term relationships with contractors, sub-contractors, material suppliers, state and local municipalities and more. His knowledge, industry relationships and proven leadership skills provide a unique resource for our customers, business partners, and team members.
Mr. Stewart is a graduate of Iowa State University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts and Science degree. His leadership experience in the construction industry includes as owner of Stewart Home & Improvement. LLC. which performed services in IL and TX and included both residential and commercial construction projects. His responsibilities have included but are not limited to overseeing project management, contract negotiations, land acquisition, vendor relationships, budget planning and forecasting, scheduling, quality assurance, quality control, heavy equipment operations, safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Lavell, his wife and two daughters are very active members of their community and church, including volunteering for local events and fundraisers.
